About the Faculty of Education
Faculty of Education is an integral part of Dr. K.N. Modi University, Newai, Rajsthan Faculty of Education was established in the year 2017) . At present, B.Ed. Prgramme has been running in faculty of education . Faculty of Education offers the courses with an intake of 100 (Two Units) in B.Ed. Programme . B.Ed. course is approved by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education : https://ncte.gov.in) respective regulatory body.
B.Ed. programme has been designed with the aim to develop an understanding of teaching-learning process at secondary and senior-secondary level among student teachers. It focuses on enabling student-teachers to reflect critically on perspectives of education and integrate holistically the theory and practices to facilitate active engagement of learners for knowledge creation.

Scout and Guide Camp 30/07/19- 03/08/19
Education Department (B.Ed.), Dr. K. N. Modi Unversity has organized a Scout and Guide Camp for five days from 30thjuly 2019 to 03August 2019. Prof .devisahaay , Jaipur and his team along with six members have come to train B.Ed. students various activities involved in sensitivity for community development . Students registered and got uniform on 30thjuly 2019 duly escorted by Scout Masters and GuideCaptains. To develop students as responsible citizens and to instill important life skills, Investiture ceremony was held for the students of Scouts and Guides Camp The programme started with a prayer, flag song followed by the lighting of the lamp. Master Devi sahai Gaur, Scout Counselor administered the oath to the students. The recruits earned the badges and scarves after a lot of efforts and a yearlong learning of staying together, sharing, caring and the art of living. The new league of torch bearers sanctimoniously vowed to uphold the values in high esteem while providing service to others.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’s DAY
8th MARCH 2018
International women's day 8th March to remind the roles and powers of women in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles and to emphasize the importance of women's empowerment. On this day 8th March 2018 Dr.K.N.Modi University, NEWAI RAJASTHAN department of B.Ed. And ICC had organized Honor day for women. Mrs. Santosh Aarya, Newai, National Basket Ball Player Were specially honored by president of the university. Twenty five faculty members were honored by the university. President had emphasized importance of female in the society and family and empowerment for them. All deans and Hod, faculty members had shared their views on women empowerment. Students of esteems showed their honor and respect for female to participate in various culture programme as play and role them dance to save girls child and Women .
A Brief report on WORKSHOP ON
ECONOMY FOR PRODUCTIVITY AND SUSTAINABILITY WEEK
On 12 February to 18 February 2019.
Aiming to provide an intense knowledge about Productivity and Sustainability in an Economy for all students organized by Dr. K.N. Modi University, Newai Jaipur.
Speaking on the occasion, we began with invoke of Lord Ganesha by Dr. Vandana Sharma Assistant Professor, BanasthaliVidhyapeeth, Dr. Prof. Manvijay Singh Dean Academics, Dr. Shubha Sharma Dean Academics, Dr. Prof. Rajiv Dutta HOD of Applied Sciences, followed by speech of Dr. Shubha Sharma, Dean Academics Education Department threw light on the theme and said “A form of productivity which involves “Working smarter not necessarily Working harder” She mentioned objectives for the workshop:
- Students will take an extensive knowledge on PRODUCTIVITY AND SUSTAINABILITY.
- Inspire others around a common vision of the future.
- It is enhancing involvement in National Level activities.
- To build collaboration, team work and trust to help others in excel.
- Going forward, we invited our Dean academics Prof. Dr. ManVijay Singh to throw some light on the theme. He emphasized on Finance and wealth. How can we build our nation a Productive enough to sustain and in what ways. He also mentioned for Youngsters that they are the only people who can really do this reality by their own ways.
- Then we invited Prof. Dr. Rajiv Dutta HOD of Applied Sciences, he related this topic from historical point of view and he gave information about Green Revolution, White Revolution, and Mr. Swami Nathan who was really engaged for this concept day and night. He also talked about how there was a Starvation in our Economy and how did we order even grains at that point of time.
Now, here comes our guest, Dr. Vandana Sharma assistant Professor, Banasthali VidhyapeethJaipur. She was so elaborative and descriptive about the topic and she delivered the lecture as per her best of the knowledge. She started with Inter-related Cycle. Consumption, Production and Distribution.
Then we organized activities for students. SushmaTanwar , Assistant Professor at Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. MeenuGangal Assistant Professor at Education Department and Megha Nagelia , Assistant Professor at Management Department .

- PO1:Educational teaching Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession for teachers, including general sciences, mathematics; the behavioral, social, and administrative perspective of educational learning.
- PO2:Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines with the knowledge of different aspects of life skills .
- PO3:Problem analysis: Utilize the principles of scientific enquiry, thinking analytically, clearly and critically, while solving problems and making decisions during daily practice. Find, analyze, evaluate and apply information systematically and shall make defensible decisions.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR
UDAIPUR & MOUNT ABU - 21/12/2017 to 22/12/2017
- Two Days 21/12/2017 to 22/12/2017 educational tour were organized by D.K.N.M.U faculty of education along with 6 staff members and 47 students of B.Ed.
- The objectives of this educational tour were to promote curriculum base experimental learning of different cultures and identify the points of unity in diversity of India.
VISIT AT MOHAN LAL SUKHADIYA UNIVERSITY, UDAIPUR
H.O.D. (Dr. Alpana Singh ) with their respective team and their students welcomed to D.K.N.M.U Education department .It was well organized interactive session for both universities and both groups exchanged their relevant information about the Youth festival of Sukhadia University and Utopia organized by our university .Students shared their experience of academic learning achievements and learning outcomes in B.Ed. and M.Ed. too.
BRAHMA KUMARI WORLD SPIRITUAL UNIVERSITY VISIT
This is the famous of meditation and peaceful experimental learning that focuses on identity as souls, as opposed to bodies and believe God to be an incorporeal point of lighted. At that spiritual place the Sadhvi (S.A. Parveen) of the Ashram had introduced the relation between the soul and divine and explain ways to calm down and get solution with the various problems in life.
EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO JAWAHAR NAVODAYAVIDYALAYA, CHHAN , TONK ON 7 AUGUST, 2018.
Educational Visit were organized by D.K.N.M.U faculty of education along with 6 staff members and 72 students of B.Ed. course in which 37 were 1st Year and 35 were 2nd Year Students on Tuesday 7/8/2018 at 9:30 A.M .The objectives of this educational visit were to promote good quality education, national integration and to give students an opportunity to relate the class room learning to the real world situation. Supplement classroom academic programme with field visits & career focused itinerary. Students shared their experience of academic learning achievements and learning outcomes in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
VIRENDRA PAPERMASHY ART & CRAFT CENTER, PALLAI , NEWAI -21st JANUARY , 2020
Educational Visit were organized to VirendraPapermashy Art & Craft Center , Pallai , Newaion 21st Jan 2020 by faculty of education along with 6 staff members and 176 students of B.Ed. course for six hours in a day . Students observed and taken training for Paper mashie work from artist Virendra Sharma and their trainees .There were multiple items of Paper Mashy which were prepared by Virendra Sharma and his team members for promoting to local art and craft work .Students were motivated and active for training time . .
EDUCATIONAL TOUR 2022
An educational tour offers students of all Classes an opportunity for a rich immersion experience. B.Ed. 2nd year Practical paper is Sensitivity for Community Development; it’s a part of syllabus. Under this course Open Air Session and Educational Tour is mandatory. So the Educational Department is organized a one day educational tour of Jaipur City, Rajasthan on 13 February 2022 for 62 students of B.Ed. 2nd Year (2021-22) in which 22 were girls and 40 were boys. The students were accompanied by the 6 Faculty members from the university.
EDUCATIONAL TOUR 2023
An educational tour offers students of all Classes an opportunity for a rich immersion experience. B.Ed. 2nd year Practical paper is Sensitivity for Community Development; it’s a part of syllabus.
