Subject: Reconstitution of the Board of Studies (BOS) Committees for the Academic Session 2025–26
In pursuance of the orders of the Hon'ble President of the University and in accordance with the applicable provisions/guidelines of the University Statutes, the Board of Studies (BOS) Committees of various Faculties/Departments/Schools of Dr. K. N. Modi University, Newai, Tonk (Rajasthan) are hereby reconstituted for the Academic Session 2025–26.

MANDATORY COMPOSITION OF BOARD OF STUDIES
It is hereby directed that each Department/Faculty/School shall ensure the inclusion of at least one member from the following categories in the composition of its respective Board of Studies, as applicable under the University Statutes/guidelines:

The concerned Head of the Department/Dean/Principal shall ensure that the required external subject expert and industry representative are identified and nominated wherever applicable and that the final composition of the BOS complies with the prescribed statutory requirements.
The Board of Studies shall perform its functions in accordance with the University Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, Academic Rules and Guidelines of the University and shall consider, inter alia, matters relating to curriculum development, syllabus revision, academic standards, course structure, teaching-learning practices, examination and assessment patterns, emerging areas of study, and other academic matters referred to it.
The reconstituted BOS Committees shall remain effective for the Academic Session 2026–27, unless modified, superseded or reconstituted by the competent authority.
All concerned Deans, HoDs, Principals and members are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
